I have lived in Clacton nearly all my life. My first proper camera was a 35mm Olympus Trip back in 1980.
From that I progressed to an SLR Nikon EM in 1982, then in early 1986 I bought a Nikon FE2, which many of the images on this website were taken with. The FE2 is a brilliant camera especially for night photography which is one of my passions. Then in the summer of 2000 I bought my first auto-focus SLR, a Nikon F90X
My first digital camera was a Fuji compact A210 from that I progressed and in May 2006 I bought my first DSLR a Fuji S2 Pro, another great camera which takes my Nikon lenses. Then in 2009 another upgrade to a Fuji S3 Pro, which although rather slow, was a great camera, then for a while had a Canon 1000D, as from 2015 I shot with a Nikon D600, Dec 2022 gone to a D750 + various FX lenses, all I shoot these days are digital.
